This course is an overview of the law governing business relationships including agency, partnerships, limited liability companies and corporations.

Overview

This course is an overview of the law governing business relationships including agency, partnerships, limited liability companies and corporations. The course provides participants with an overview of the essential concepts of each business relationship as well as an opportunity to apply the concepts to solving real world legal problems.

What will be covered

The course includes four modules. Each module includes a series of short video lectures and an online LawMeet® exercise. (What is an online LawMeet® exercise). The modules include:

1) Agency

  • Submissions due January 25, 2013

2) Partnerships

  • Submissions due February 15, 2013

3) Limited Liability Companies

  • Submissions due March 15, 2013

4) Corporations

  • Submissions due April 12, 2013

The instructor for this course is Professor Karl Okamoto (Drexel).

CLE credit

We are an approved CLE provider in Pennsylvania. We will provide certification of completion to participants who would like to apply on their own for credit outside of Pennsylvania. Each hour of CLE credit costs $40. More info about CLE.
